There are four post-doctoral positions available in the Molecular
Spectroscopy Program of the Steacie Institute for molecular Sciences of the
National Research Council of Canada. These positions are available
immediately and target the following areas:
1) PFI-ZEKE and Infrared Depletion/PFI-ZEKE of metal containing species
including small metal clusters.
2) PFI-ZEKE and Photo-Induced Rydberg Ionization (PIRI) and MATI of highly
reactive molecular ions of astrophysical interest.
3) Kinetic studies of transition metal clusters, in particular, Rh, Ru and
Fe.
4) Development of vuv source, testing and applications to metal clusters.
5) Development and testing of a Fourier transform microwave spectrometer
with mass detection capability.
6) Infrared and microwave spectroscopy of van der Waals complexes.
