think creating a recognised profession would be a positive step. It would
simply result in a clique and endless jargon - with more people talking
about PUS instead of doing it.
I think I can speak for the BA in saying that we happy to be the focal point
of PUS activity in the UK.

Agreed on the first point. Surely the whole idea is to enable other
"profession" to join in the fun. Scientists, actors, artists, even
journalists can be PUShers. In any case, don't we have too many professions
already. Me I own up to being an amateur. I just get paid for my hobby.
On the second point, you would say that wouldn't you.
