TRACKING GOVERNMENT PUBLICATIONS
Being able to find and use official information is a vital skill for
anyone working in business or commerce - to stay in business, and to
be competitive, means keeping within the law and being aware of
legislation in progress and policy developments.
The course will help participants to:
· Discover the different types of government documents available
· Decide the most suitable sources of information for their needs
· Learn about the range of information available from electronic
sources
· Explore the wealth of official information on the Internet
· Become aware of the range of services provided by TSO, the Office
for National Statistics, and the Euro Inormation Centre at the London
Chamber of Commerce
During the day participants will have the opportunity to informally
evaluate and try out a number of key CD-ROM databases.
Price: 175 pounds
