HEALTH LIBRARIES GROUP
Nominations are invited from paid up members of the Group for the offices
of Chair, Honorary Secretary and Honorary Treasurer and 12 ordinary membe=
rs
to serve on the committee from January 1999 to December 2000*.
Of the 12 ordinary members, at least four shall be elected to represent
medical and health interests and at least four to represent community ca=
re
interests.
Such nominations shall be made in writing, signed by two members of the
Group and countersigned by the candidate. Candidates must specify on the
nomination paper the category for which they propose to stand and should
include a brief biographical note (not more than 50 words) to be used in
the event of an election.

9 October 1998. Envelopes should be clearly marked =91LAHLG=92. (A nomina=

*The 1998 AGM passed the motion to increase the term of office from two t=
o
three years. This has now gone to LA Council for approval. The duration o=
f
the committee would then be from January 1999 to December 2001.
