Diversity...The Black Contribution to British Librarianship

A one day conference held by The Library Association for African, Asian
and Caribbean library staff. The conference will provide an opportunity
to explore the contribution, and potential contribution, of Asian,
African and Caribbean library workers to some of the major developments
within librarianship - literature development, electronic networking and
lifelong learning.
Delegates will have the opportunity to discuss themes in greater depth
within workshops. More practical sessions will also be offered on
library schools, and chartering, employment practices and continuing
professional development
This free of charge conference is open to members and non-members of the
Association
