I'm gathering information on the problem of the rapid change of information
technology and the need for information professionals to continuously update
their knowledge and skills in order to keep up. Based on your experiences
and observations, please answer the following questions:
1) How do you view this problem in general?
2) What are information professionals currently doing to keep up with the
rapid change of information technology?
3) What skills and knowledge do information professionals need to be fully
functional in today's technology-rich environment? What necessary skills
and knowledge are weak or lacking altogether?
3) What do you think is an effective and workable solution to this
problem? How can it be implemented cost effectively?
