Introduction to the course:
Increasingly, information managers are expected to achieve excellent
results across a variety of activities. Managing complex and multiple
tasks can create problems of deciding priorities, allocating time and
resources, keeping work on track and motivating diverse and often
virtual teams.
Course objectives:
This intensive one day workshop will
to help participants to understand the major elements of managing
complex tasks through using project management techniques
to consider ways to plan, resource and monitor projects
to identify practical ways to achieve high performance from diverse and
'virtual' teams
to encourage the exchange of ideas and approaches
to give practical experience in preparing an initial project plan
