A strictly limited number of places are still available on the IIS
Professional
Development Course, beginning this Friday.
The Course, entitled Expanding Horizons, is designed to provide a
state-of-the-art updating for information professionals.
The venue is the TFPL training suite at 17 Britton Street, London EC1,
registration from 09:30, starting at 10 a.m.
The Course will take place on consecutive Fridays during the month of
May, beginning on 1 May. The cost is GBP 550 + VAT to IIS Members
and GBP 650 + VAT to non-members; single day rates are 110 and 130
respectively.

The Course leader is Phil Bradley, a well-known Internet and Electronic
Publishing Consultant, and a Member of the Board of Directors of EIP.
Other well-known specialists in their field will also contribute.

The first session, on Knowledge Management, will be presented by Mike
Davies
of Process Edge Technologies, who has provided KM consultancy to a number
of
leading industrial firms and will include an Intranet case study by Chris
Davies of BT. The day's Course will be followed by a wine and Cheese
reception.
