Information Technology Officer
Could you provide operational support and development assistance for
Communications and Information Technology facilities in a large and dynamic
University Library?
If so, we invite you to apply for this post. Acting as first-line support,
deputising for and working closely with the Information Systems Manager,
your responsibilities will include system maintenance and troubleshooting,
configuring and maintaining the network structure and implementing and
evaluating developments. You will actively contribute to internal training
programmes and play a key role in the maintenance and development of the
Library's WWW homepage.
You should bring experience of standard library and information technology
practices, preferably in an academic or research environment, and have
competence in the use of data communications and software applications.
Starting salary in the range £20,033 - £22,282 (incl. L.A.)
