Unlisted US Company Information
28.05.98
introduction :
In the USA, there are only 11,000 listed companies in an economy of an
estimated 11 million businesses. Most company researchers will need to
obtain unlisted US company information regularly and it is important to
know what information can be collected on this vast group of companies.
This course has been designed to explain what can be obtained on listed
companies from state sources and from the commercial vendors.
Course objectives:
It has always been difficult to research information on unlisted
companies incorporated in the USA, but the development of electronic
services, particularly CD-ROM format information services has led to a
growth in new sources of US company information compiled by unfamiliar
publishers.
