Dear members,
I have just joined the int-boundaries list. I would like to introduce myself.
I am a third year PhD student in Geography at University Paris-Pantheon
Sorbonne (Paris1). My PhD topic is transborder cooperation between France and
Belgium, from Dunkerque to Lille. The main points are :
- Contacts between the Flemish from Flanders/Belgium and from Flanders/France,
who have common roots but rather different identities,
- Relevance and opportunity of land planning across this border,
- Conflicts between the european scale procedures and the local scale needs.
If you have any comments or questions, please do not hesitate to contact me. I
would be interested in comparing my research topic with other kinds of
research on transborder cooperation in the European Union, or in other places.
I am looking forward to your reactions.
With best wishes,
Gregory
