We may want to integrate the two. History of social action is valuable for
designing ethical actions in the future. Getting people to go when there is
a 'green light' on conducting an action is what is important. For instance,
the following item is important to me. I like cats. The question is then
what do we do about the tigers?
ECONOMIC CRISIS AFFECTS TIGERS: The Baltimore Sun reported recent
Russia's economic crisis is devastating 400 Siberian tigers left in the
Russian Far East. The tigers were maintaining a tenuous existence
until impacted by huge forest fires and an increase in poaching. The
skin and organs of one tiger smuggled to China brings an amount equal
to 100 years salary for a forest ranger.
