CONTINUING EDUCATION
FOURTH ANNUAL CONFERENCE

THEME:			Lifelong Learning in Practice

DATE:		                 7th  to 9th  July 1999

VENUE:		      The Nottingham Trent University

This important national conference will meet the changing needs of
lifelong learning practitioners in HE, FE, community education,

conference, the event will allow delegates to share and learn from each
other's practical experiences (good and bad) through formal sessions and
informal networking. This is your chance to submit offers for the formal
workshop and presentation sessions within the conference. Those
wishing to contribute should submit an abstract (one side of A4),
including the title and author(s) of the session, indicating its subject
matter. Papers/Workshops should be consistent with the focus of the
conference, e g perhaps you can show delegates:

*  How you secured the support of senior champions in your organisation;
*  How you manage lifelong learning in your organisation;
* Practical examples of innovative programmes, i e APEL, CVE/CPD,
Keyskills;
*  Share recruitment strategies, including widening access;
*  How and what sources of funding to tap;
* How you set about regional collaboration
