Fine reading at One in the Other tonight. Thanks to M Champion Esq. for
organising
Steve McCaffery started it off with what I believe are unpublished poems -
the first almost defying description addressed to Charles Bernstein -
wonderful rimes and connections - pushing the meaning off both those words
Then Karen MacCormack briefly reading from a chap book from Wild Honey
Press, the title of which I have had wiped out during the odyssey home - 2.5
hrs
Then Karen and Alan Halsey reading from their collaborative Fit to print
& then Alan from a work in progress
All of them on form. Great evening

Babel sign in L'pool St Stn - "Keep your bag with you at all times to reduce
the number of security risks" which reminds me of a man I heard on the radio
a while back who said "I think there was a conspiracy theory against me"

In case there are any Connex shareholders on this list, I'd like to say "you
tried, again, to stop me going to and from a poetry reading, but you failed
again"
thank you
