Oh, I'm with you! incidentally the idea of external noise and event entering a
work/performance is fascinating . . .
Instead of the poet/artist as divine receptacle, all radio aerial and
receiver, we move on to the orchestrator, the conjuror and inclusive paradigm.
I like the idea of accident, of chance, and the sublime ridiculous. Years ago,
I was with a troop of art students fresh back from the English Lakes and we
had just got off a coach, busy discussing performance art versus trad craft,
when a (stone)dead pigeon feel from the art school roof on top of a
colleague's head. What a metaphor for arts and crafts!
