I think Peter's point is a valid one and I hope that the many non-British,
non-American members will use Poetryetc as a forum to discuss their own
specific issues and concerns as well as participate in the "general"
discussion - whatever that might be. However, I do think crossover and
interaction between lists can be very positive - a kind of third party
dialogue (potentially) develops. Things will pan out, I'd say. And everyone
is entitled to post so occupation of this or that zone becomes a relative
question. One particular point of interest for me is whether or not members
whose principal language is not English will post non-English messages, or
at least discuss the possibility of doing so.
Anyway, it's over to list members. The space defines itself as far as I'm
concerned.
