A very gorgeous rejoinder, Keston. I hope you similarly enjoyed my
two hours of silent, admiring assent.
All the same, some mithering from me:
A "skilled writer can determine the future pattern of its appearance
through speculative theoretic and aestheticizing manoeuvres"?
Well, would that still be speculation? Maybe the whole deal was rigged:
insider trading. Shares in Prynne securities can go down as well as
up. Or you at least have to allow that possibility. I`m not sure
about "the instinct to overcome &c.," I mean it`s never simply
innocently proprioceptive: relying on Prynne`s reliability, to a
certain extent you produce it. Still, a terrific post.
