I link it, simply, to the time when the Brythonic people were in the
North, when Aneirin lamented the dead at Catterick. It seemed that
everything that was any good got rubbed out - hence, in my assumption that
Otis Rush must've snuffed, I was being both "gloomy" and "NorthBritish".
Gosh, hope that's OK, one has to be so careful these days...
