And another thought jumped into my mind:
Any young poet who read Cyril Connolly's review of `Briggflats'
in the Sunday Times all those years ago will have been galvanised
as a consequent of meeting Buntting's great (he he he) work into
an interest in `the surface texture of language'. I doubt that
Olson had much to do with it.
