Interesting venture from Rudiger Fischer, Verlag im Wald, Donning 6,
D-93485 Rimbach, Germany: this imprint publishes trilingual editions.
Thus, the copy to hand, Cid Corman's PITH WATER (unfortunate title I
feel somehow) comes with facing french and german translations, in a
well-produced, plain, almost stark edition. Here's a shortie (sorry
bout my lack of accents), showing some of the solution to translation
problems...
Marianne - this is
beyond imagination's
all - das ist the toad.
___
Marianne - ceci
depasse l'imagination -
c'est trop bete, ca mord.
___
Marianne - dies ist
jenseits aller Vortellungs-
kraft - death ist Krote.
___
Hmm... Other titles available in bi- and tri-lingual eds, also a
couple of issues of a magazine. No price on the Corman, but others are
between 10DM and 25DM.
