Good man for bringing that back. I forwarded an earlier note to Lisa
Robertson, who has some interest in IHF, met him at Stonypath & nods in
his direction in at least one section of "Debbie: An Epic". Experience
teaches not to hold the breath too long though, by her own admission.
As a good Canadian, she's probably happy to be considered post-colonial,
so if it's OK with you I'll forward the new "thesis" statement, might
stimulate a response.
I don't remember if I mentioned Stephen Scobie's letters from IHF from
around 1968, published in an issue of "White Pelican" - titled "Summer
Elephants" (Finlay had dated a letter Jumy 3rd & apologised for the
error saying it must be some kind of summer elephant.) Can send you
that by courier snail if of interest.
Keep at it & us, into mind-expanding stuff.
Pete.
