Ric Caddel is well able to stand up for himself
but I want to express *my disappointment that when we get a response to his
response to Fred Beake it is as grumpy and, to me, as feeble as _You clearly
don't like my ideas_... This does not deal with the criticism made which is
that he generalises and doesnt give examples. Saying you dont like my ideas
_but what are yours?_ looks a bit evasive and does not advance anything
what is the point of exchanging views if we dont expand on them or defend
them?
_I notice with wearisome regularity that poets of whatever persuasion will
not discuss rhythm_
I wonder where this is noticed... I notice that there's no coal in the
refrigerator no matter how often I look. Perhaps I should look somewhere
else...
poets discuss rhythm all the time
