Chair in Epidemiology with Public Health Research
Applications are invited for a new Chair with the title of either
Professor of Epidemiology or Professor of Epidemiology with Public
Health Research, depending on the strengths and interests of the
successful candidate. The appointment is part of a strategic
development, building on existing strengths in epidemiology and
biostatistics within the School of Epidemiology and Health Sciences.
We seek a professor to create a research group to complement the two
major epidemiological research teams that already exist within the
School (the Arthritis and Rheumatism Campaign Epidemiology Research
Unit and the Centre for Occupational Health). The post is open to
either a clinical or a non-clinical scientist who is outstanding in
any field of epidemiology (chronic diseases, infectious diseases and
genetic epidemiology, for example).
