Fellow Allstaters:
Does anybody out there know what "Fisher's PLSD comparison test" is
(including what "PLSD" stands for)? I ask because I am refereeing a
paper which uses it as a significance test, and gives no reference.
Apparently, it is something you do after an ANOVA. The authors state
that "Each test is the mean of 3 experiments performed in duplicate",
and I am wondering if the P stands for paired. It is probably something
I know and love under some other name, but it is not very clear exactly
what.
Thanks in advance
Roger
