Phil Cooke ([log in to unmask]). Actually, I joined earlier on in
the year, but left when I went off to Florence for research from
February to August. I originate from London but fled to Scotland (Yes,
Yes) in the mid-80s. My PhD was on Fenoglio's Il partigiano Johnny and
I have published sections of it in various journals. I have an anthology of
Resistance writing coming out within the next few weeks. I am
presently working on a book on the short and long-term legacy of the
Resistance which, I suspect, will not be ready for some time. If
anyone is working on social/cultural upheaval, particularly in the
immediato dopoguerra, I would like to hear from them. Hope everyone is
not finding the new academic session too angosciante.
