I do think that in a not too distant future DSSSL will become an
important part of the indexing machinery of any WWW index. There will be
metadata available, embedded or coded in different ways in HTML, XML, TEI
SGML and the forthcoming you-name-it-dtd and you'll need to transform
those to a single format for your database.
To make a feasibility study of using DSSSL for producing records for the
