I wonder if the list of "people at Avignon" might be that given in
H.Denifle,"Liber divisionis Cortesianorum et civium Romanae Curiae et
civitatis Avinionis",Archiv fur Literatur und Kirchengeschichte,i
(1885),627-30. This is cited in G.Mollat,The Popes at Avignon, Eglish
transl. (1963),281.
But, as has been already pointed out, there is fuller information
in B.Guillemain's La Cour Pontificale d'Avignon.
The journal cited is an obscure but a famous one ed.Ehrle and
Denifle,
about whom David Knowles wrote an essay many years ago. Amazingly, I
think we have it at Bristol but it has probably moved to the Store, where
all the best books are banished.
