Concerning recent literature on St.Giovanni da Capestrano, the most
important foundation for a new biography has been established in the
posthumously edited provisional calendar of St.John Capistran's
correspondence, compiled by Ottokar Bonmann and edited G.Gal and
J.M.Miskuly, which is published in three volumes of the journal
"Franciscan Studies", vols.49(1989),255-345;5O(199O),323-4O3 and
52(1992),283-327.
Like Gary Dickson I should be most interested to know if anyone has
taken up the challenge of a new biography or is projecting one.
