Massimiliano Chiamenti: I was born in Florence in 1967. I graduated (prof.
Domenico De Robertis) in 1993. The title of my dissertation thesis was
Dante Alighieri traduttore (Dante Alighieri as a translator). This work was
later published as a book (Quaderni degli studi Danteschi, Firenze, Le
Lettere, 1995). I'm now completing my doctorate (Filologia Dantesca, prof.
Francesco Mazzoni) and I'm preparing the critical edition of Pietro
Alighieri's Commentary on the Comedy (third redaction). I've published
(both in reviews and in the net) also a few other articles that you can
find listed in Lieberknecht's site. Soon I'll be out also with a short note
on Arnaut Daniel, two linguistic articles on Dante ('scherzare', 'la fiera
moglie'), a paper on the relationship between the Bible and the Fiore, and
a short study on Dante's influence on Le occasioni by Montale.
Cari saluti a tutti
Massimiliano
