spelling dictionaries:
Chambers Spell Well
Harrap's English Spelling
Pergamon Dictionary of Perfect Spelling
These are spelling dictionaries only and have the "rong" spellings in, with
suggested right spellings.
ACE Spelling Dictionary is aurally coded and suits some students if they
can learn how to use it.
We use the Concise Oxford, but I suggest that they get the "Dictionary of
Psychology/Sociology" etc.
or use textbook glossaries (which they can scan on to their computers.
Are you working with dyslexic students in Swansea? We are trying to get a
Wales group of support tutors going.
