I am happy enough to have the ABSTRACT element made seperate from
SUBJECT. We can call it DESCRIPTION for broader compatability
with existing practice at ROADS, Alta Vista, etc. Also, as Stu
noted somewhere else, description can be used for handling the
problem of the difference between the subject of an image and
what that image portrays. I think Lee Quinn asked about this
distinction. Recall the Vietnam-era image of the girl running
down the street. It might have a description of "girl running
down street" but a subject of "horrors of war".
