I've mislaid a reference to an Italian article dealing historiographically
with this chronicle and perhaps with the identity of the Paduan monk who
may (or may not) be the anonymous chronicler. The article is not cited in
the new Potthast; nor is it mentioned by J.K. Hyde in his book on Padua in
the age of Dante. Does anyone know of the article (which may have been
published in the later 70s or 80s)?
