I was hoping never to see this "file too small" error message again
unless the data files are corrupted (you didn't run out of disk space?).
It seems that you are using the latest version of SPM12 (r7771): can you
confirm this is the case and that you do not have previous versions or
other interacting toolboxes in your MATLAB path?
Which platform (Windows/Linux/Mac) are you using? Are you using 3D or 4D
NIfTI files?
Could you run the following code for your NIfTI file that is generating
this error (the input to fMRI model specification) and let us know the
complete output?
filename = 'xxxxxxxxx.nii';
d = dir(filename)
n = nifti(filename)
n.dat
