Salary from £46,100 to £53,295 pa inclusive with potential to progress to £59,354 pa inclusive of London allowance
The Digital Skills Lab provides digital and data science skills development opportunities for LSE’s staff and students through a variety of formats, including online, blended, and taught training sessions, drop-in and online advice and support, and tailored advice and consultancy. Learning Developers have responsibility for design and delivery of effective and innovative technical training and line management of hourly paid staff (where appropriate). In addition, Learning Developers will contribute to strategy development, benchmarking and forward planning of provision, and evaluation of impact and return on investment.
Candidates should have extensive experience in designing and delivering effective technical training courses and materials, in addition to expertise in coding (R and/or Python) and data analysis and visualisation.
The successful candidate will also demonstrate the ability to work independently while contributing to the wider aims of the team and School, a commitment to developing learner’s digital fluency and independence, and an understanding of how to achieve learner engagement and knowledge transfer for a diverse set of learners.
