What: The incredible Black Activists Rising Against Cuts (BARAC) will be presenting on the impact on well-being of racism, injustice and poverty. http://blackactivistsrisingagainstcuts.blogspot.com/
Come and learn how we can best be useful allies in their important campaigning work.
BARAC campaigns against the adverse disproportionate impact of cuts on black /BAME workers, service users and communities and deepening related injustice and racism.
They campaign on four main objectives:·
To defend jobs and services;·
To highlight the disproportionate and adverse impact of reduction in public spending on black communities;·
To provide a campaigning platform to fight against cuts;·
To work in partnership/build alliances with others facing similar attacks.
