Hi FSL experts,
I am trying to understand what does the fsl_regfilt command exactly do? This is because, my general assumption is that fsl_regfilt only removes the time series of the labelled noisy components and does not regress out the WM and CSF nuisance signals in the resting state fmri dataset.
In addition, what does the melodic_mix file contains? Should I try regressing out the time series of WM and CSF signals using fsl_glm after running the fsl_regfilt command line?
These are the following commands which I have used after running the single-subject ICA:
fsl_regfilt -i Rest.ica/filtered_func_data.nii.gz -d Rest_EPI.ica/filtered_func_data.ica/melodic_mix -f "1,2,3" -o filtered_func_data_denoised.nii.gz
fsl_glm -i filtered_func_data.nii.gz -d wm_csf.mat -o filtered_func_data_cleaned.nii.gz
does this method of rsfmri data clean up sound correct? Thanks in advance!
kind regards,
