A reasonable poem
‘Actually quite reasonable’
suggests surprisingly good
Reasonable quality however
is merely acceptable
A reasonable return is good value
But if you hear ‘Reasonable’
when you ask ‘What’s it like?’
who wouldn’t think, iffy then.
Reasonable is cousin to fair
but not to beautiful
rather to fair as in unremarkable
or at best to impartial, even scrupulous
A step or two beneath considerable
Well ahead of negligible
Reasonable - so damnably
adequate
