Hi,
I have been trying to resample only (and not register) PET and CT images with FLIRT, but I have issues I think caused by registration.
The original PET and CT images are already co-registered, as they were acquired in the same scanner. However, they have different resolutions, and I would like to resample the PET image (lower res) to the CT image (higher res).
When I use flirt to do this, the output PET image end up in a different field of view and I don't know why this is the case.
The command I am using is
flirt -cost corratio -interp trilinear -in PEToriginal -ref CToriginal -out PETnew
I have also tried
flirt -cost corratio -interp trilinear -nosearch -in PEToriginal -ref CToriginal -out PETnew
but I get again a wrong registration. I have tried to change -cost corratio to -cost mutualinfo but agian no good results.
Is there something I am not considering here?
Many thanks.
Kidn Reagrds,
Caterina
