Hi Verdi,
Getting more information about the network i/o protocol being used would
be useful. I would also hope that someone with knowledge about this
would join in.
My understanding is that the issue is with data write (taking place
slice by slice during smoothing). Just to make sure that it is indeed
the case, could you verify that can reproduce the issue with:
>> spm_smooth('Z:\share\4D.nii','Z:\share\s4D.nii',10);
and
>> spm_smooth('C:\local\4D.nii','Z:\share\s4D.nii',10);
but not with:
>> spm_smooth('C:\local\4D.nii','C:\local\s4D.nii',10);
or
>> spm_smooth('Z:\share\4D.nii','C:\local\s4D.nii',10);
