Dear FSL experts,
I am analyzing tMRI and want to convert activation and deactivation clusters to masks to create ROI for DTI tractography seed purposes. The sample from the HCP we have it has two different types of z maps. One is created by the conn toolbox, which is a Pearson normalized z-transformation score. The other was created through FSL through the process of randomise command --> TtoZ command available online on Neurovault.org.
The first question, how are those two maps different regarding the results because I can notice that the activation map has a bit of dissimilarity?
Second question, to produce an ROI for DTI-tractography, which is the best one to use?
Third question, regarding the TtoZ methods, how it waas possible to create a z map for one subject despite the issue of the df?
Best
