About the role

As the Information Officer, you will assist in the provision of analysis and presentation of corporate information in response to a wide range requests from external stakeholders. Requests include Freedom of Information (and EIR) requests, Data Protection Subject Rights Requests, Open Access policy, Copyright permission and general enquiries from members of the public. You will also develop and maintain the MRC publication library and data archive, including cataloguing and archiving, in order to make it more accessible to the public. You will contribute to the work of the Governance & Policy and Communications & Engagement teams by providing the team with administrative and project support. 

About you

You will have excellent communication skills – written and oral, and be able to to present information in a clear and succinct way using different media and to different audiences. You will be confident in dealing with people at all levels – adapting style as necessary, and able to deliver to tight timescales including ability to prioritise/re-prioritise to deliver on time.
