We are pleased to announce that registration for the QHRN training programme for December 2019 is now open. The training programme will run from 4-6 December 2019 and will take place at UCL: Charles Bell House, 43-45 Foley St, W1W 7TS, London. We will be delivering the following courses:

1) Introduction to Ethnography in Healthcare - 4 December, 10:00-16:00: FULL-WAITING LIST AVAILABLE
A comprehensive introduction to ethnographic research, focusing on current understandings, ethics and access in healthcare settings, research design, observational and interview-based methods of data collection, data management, analysis, and the written account. Delivered by: Dr Henry Llewellyn, Dr Georgia Black and Sébastien Libert.
2) Introduction to Rapid Qualitative Research (RREAL) -5 December, 10:00-16:00: FULL-WAITING LIST AVAILABLE
An introduction to the range of approaches used in rapid qualitative research and literature reviews. Course participants will work with real research cases and design their own rapid study. Participants planning a rapid study are encouraged to use their own topic throughout the course. Short clinics are available to discuss individual projects in detail. Delivered by Dr Cecilia Vindrola.
3) Advanced Rapid Qualitative Research (RREAL) - 6 December, 10:00-16:00: ONLY 1 PLACE LEFT

Designed for those who have attended the introduction to rapid qualitative research course or have experience participating in rapid qualitative studies. The aim is to help attendees address issues they might be facing in the design and implementation of their rapid studies. Delivered by Dr Cecilia Vindrola.

4) Rapid Qualitative Research in Complex Health Emergencies (RREAL) - 6 December, 10:00-16:00: ONLY 5 PLACES LEFT

This course aims to provide attendees with the skills required to implement rapid qualitative research approaches in the context of complex health emergencies. Participants will learn to apply and adapt rapid qualitative methods through critical appraisal of the literature and contemporary case studies. Use of personal topics of interest is encouraged. Delivered by Dr Ginger A. Johnson.

You are encouraged to book onto one or any combination of the courses offered as part of the programme. Please note you cannot book onto course 3 and 4 as these take place on the same day. Discounts are available for multi-course bookings. If your booking is eligible for the multi-course discount, you will receive a refund on your order for the discounted amount:
