Research Fellow in Ethics and Digital Health (NPIC)
NDPH, Old Road Campus, Headington, Oxford
Grade 7: £32,817 - £40,322 p.a.
Based within the Nuffield Department of Population Health, The Ethox Centre is an internationally recognised multidisciplinary bioethics research centre and is a vibrant and intellectually exciting place to work.
As a Research Fellow, you will contribute towards the development of an INNOVATE UK project called Northern Pathology Imaging Collaborative (NPIC) which aims to improve healthcare and develop industry. Specifically, you will coordinate the ethics workpackage, which will include: the development of qualitative instruments (focus groups, individual interviews), data collection and analysis plans, representing the group at external meetings, seminars and conferences and collaborate on the preparation of research publications.
You will have a relevant PhD/DPhil (or equivalent) with significant research experience and a strong record of scholarship in qualitative research and bioethics. You will possess the ability to manage your own academic research activities, proficiency with qualitative analysis software and exceptional organisation and communication skills.
The post is full-time (part-time considered) and fixed-term for 3 years.
