Dear list
The call for contributions for the 2020 IRMS (Information and Records Management Society) Conference is open now - see www.irmsconference.org.uk/call for details.
This is an ideal opportunity to boost your professional development by sharing your ideas and experience with fellow information professionals in the unique, friendly and inclusive environment of the IRMS Conference.
Our theme for the conference, to be held on 17-19 May 2020 in Birmingham, is "Information and Data: The Heart of Your Organisation" and we're seeking outline proposals for presentations, panel sessions and workshops focusing on 1 of our 4 main subject areas -
- Information
- People
- Technology
- Regulation
If you're looking for inspiration, we've put together some ideas for possible topics (available via the website) but the choice is yours. So whether you have a new concept, a case study on a special project, or just want to talk on a subject that you’re passionate about to a like-minded audience, we want to hear from you!
May 2020 is still a long way away so we're looking for outline proposals at this stage – tell us what you want to speak about, any particular experience, research or interest that it will be based on, and what you hope the audience will gain from your session.
Go to www.irmsconference.org.uk/call to find out more and get involved. The deadline is Monday 14th October.
Finally, if I may add - for those wanting to attend the conference, our Super Early Bird rate ends on Monday 30th September. Please visit the conference website this week to book your place at our best price.
All the best
Joe
