I think they are referring to professional indemnity insurance. Any independent consultant like myself has to have it. It's nothing to do with Cstat, I would still need it if I didn't have Cstat. What the RSS is offering is discounted PI via some partner but whether you need cstat to get the discount I don't know.

The RSS members survey asks if one has "used" the CStat Indemnity insurance in the past two years. I'm not sure what "used" means in this context. I've been aware it existed but haven't used it to promote myself as a CStat - it seems a little counter-productive to claim one is competent "but if not here's where you can claim"!
I have household, car and travel insurances which I've paid for, but not claimed on in the last two years. Have I "used" these policies?
Is anyone else puzzled? [I'm not going to tick it.]
