Dear colleagues,

Our research group at the Institute of Public Health at the Charité-Universitätsmedizin Berlin is searching for a research fellow to join our newly-launched, interdisciplinary Berlin-based research team (PI: Tobias Kurth). The position is intended for a post-doc-level researcher (or a PhD candidate nearing completion).

Attached, you will find a detailed description of the position in English (PDF). The online job posting can be found here (some sections in German): https://www.charite.de/service/stellenangebot/angebot/detailinfo/cc01_1219_research_fellow/

We have listed some potential research domains of interest based on current research project needs (including causal inference and causal learning), but we are also very open to applications from individuals who don’t exactly meet our suggested profile, come different academic backgrounds, and/or have other methods-related research interests. We enjoy working on multidisciplinary, collaborative projects, and the ideal team member should be interested in developing and implementing their own research ideas.

I am happy to provide more details or answer any questions about the position by email. We can also offer some additional information about relocating to Berlin.

Please feel free to forward this email to any interested colleagues in your networks.

Many thanks and best wishes,

Jess Rohmann
