The Stata Programming Workshop is an opportunity for graduate students, academics, researchers and professionals to expand their knowledge of Stata. This 3-day course introduces programming skills to those who have never written a program in Stata. The course is led by Kit Baum, author of An Introduction to Stata Programming, Second Edition (2016) and organized by Timberlake (timberlake.co.uk). Baum has authored and co-authored several popular community-contributed routines for Stata, and manages the SSC Archive. The course is particularly relevant for those using statistics, econometrics and biostatistics to analyze "big data", and will draw examples from those disciplines, including Baum's recent work in epidemiology and the econometric analysis of panel data.
