The Team METHODS of the CRESS (Centre de Recherche Épidémiologie et
StatistiqueS), Université de Paris, is hiring a statistician to be involved
in the NECESSITY (New Clinical endpoints in primary Sjögren’s Syndrome: an
interventional trial based on stratifying patients) project funded by the
European Union (H2020-JTI-IMI2).
The statistician recruited will be involved in Work Packages 5 (defining
new endpoints in Sjögren syndrome) and 6 (conducting a randomized
controlled trial) of the project.
The Team METHODS of CRESS offers an international and dynamic research
environment, and participating to the NECESSITY project gives the
opportunity to collaborate with a large network of 25 partners all over
Europe, including both academics and pharma industry.
*Main mission*: To be in charge of statistical analyses of NECESSITY
project WPs 5 and 6
*Key accountabilities*
• To participate in the drafting of detailed statistical analysis plans;
• To manage clinical trial data;
• To conduct clinical data analysis;
• To write analysis reports;
• To explain, interpret and discuss the results of statistical analyses;
• To participate in the writing of scientific articles;
• To participate in NECESSITY project meetings.
*Key skills, experience and qualification*
• Good knowledge in statistics, biostatistics or epidemiology at Master's
or PhD degree level (or equivalent);
• Knowledge of European regulations concerning clinical research and
personal data protection;
• Proficiency in R, SAS or Python software, and Microsoft Office
• Experience in clinical research or corresponding skills certified by
training certificate or degree;
• Experience in the planning or analysis of clinical trials is an asset;
• Experience in modeling or machine learning is an asset;
• Understanding and ability to speak and write in English;
• Good communication skills, autonomy, capacity for teamwork, flexibility
and adaptation;
• Rigor and ability to manage priorities.
