The School of Mathematics at the University of Edinburgh are looking to appoint a Business Development Executive to expand the team of diverse and dynamic individuals in the school involved with establishing and developing relationships between the School and key industry and public sector bodies. The individual will help to facilitate a wide range of activities such as joint research programmes, consultancy, and opportunities for students on our growing undergraduate and postgraduate programmes. We have strong relationships with leading financial institutions, energy companies and logistics firms, and we are looking for the right person to help grow activity in these sectors and others in the coming years.
The position requires an individual with a good honours degree, ideally involving Mathematical Sciences or a related discipline, and be able to provide clear evidence of an ability to establish and maintain effective and productive working relationships with a wide range of internal and external contacts.
This post, which is fixed term for three years, is offered on a full-time basis but may be available on a part time (80%) basis.
Salary: £33,199 - £39,609 per annum
