The Department of Art at Goldsmiths is hiring a practitioner/researcher in fine art and digital arts to join the Critical Studies team of the BA Fine Art, and to act as Joint Programme Leader (Art) of its BSc Digital Arts Computing. Digital Arts Computing is a relatively new course run in collaboration with the Computing Department at Goldsmiths. We are looking for someone to help it build on its success to become one of the leading courses for digital arts in Europe.
We are looking for a candidate who can demonstrate a serious engagement with their own practice, and be responsive to the varied and specific needs of those studying on this strongly student-centred programme. Having a proven research interest in digital arts will be an advantage to anyone applying, as the Department is committed to research led teaching. The successful candidate will join a busy and vibrant community engaged in a wide range of fine art practices and have a proven ability to teach in art school.
